Executive Chef

Meet Chef Charles

Executive Chef Charles Toomer is French-trained. He went to culinary school in Boca Raton, Florida, and went on to work at the Pinehurst Hotel and Resort. As a student, he won a medal for cold food display at a culinary competition in Charlotte. Back in the 1980s, at about 19, he cooked in this same restaurant at Seven Lakes, long before it was called Southside Bar & Grill.
