CO-OWNER & MARKETING DIRECTOR

Meera Ivester is Co-Owner and Marketing Director at Seven Lakes Golf Club, a creative powerhouse and entrepreneur who runs the empire alongside her husband Michael.

Fiercely strategic, she balances raising their two boys with turning fresh ideas into impactful campaigns. Her sharp insights shape the brand, drive resonance, and keep everything moving—proving the old saying: behind every successful man is a woman running the show.

OPERATIONS LEAD

As Operations Lead at Seven Lakes Golf Club, I am proud to work alongside my lifelong friends, Michael and Meera, in helping shape the future of this special place. My love for golf began with my father and grandfather, who introduced me to the game and instilled honesty, integrity, and loyalty.

My goal is to help Michael restore Seven Lakes Golf Club to its pristine condition while preserving its tradition and welcoming atmosphere for every member and guest.

HEAD SUPERINTENDENT

Mike Rose is the veteran Head Superintendent at Seven Lakes Golf Club, overseeing greens, turf, and grounds maintenance with unmatched expertise and longevity—he's been the longest-serving team member.

With deep institutional knowledge and proven dedication, Mike ensures pristine playing conditions that members and guests rave about. Respected by leadership including Michael and Darryl, his steady hand delivers exceptional turf quality year after year.

MAINTENANCE LEAD

Darryl Ivester is the Maintenance Lead at Seven Lakes Golf Club, working under Head Superintendent Mike Rose.

As Michael's son, this hands-on leader oversees general course maintenance, keeping the grounds sharp and in top shape. A proud North Carolina native with a wicked jump shot that keeps his younger brothers laughing, Darryl ensures everything runs smoothly and to the club's high standards.

CONTROLLER

Natilie Abbott is Controller at Seven Lakes Golf Club, keeping the books, memberships, and

day-to-day numbers in order so the rest of the team can take care of the course and members.

Away from the ledger, she has a son, Easton, who shares her love for golf and this course. She brings a steady, behind-the-scenes hand to the business side of the club the kind of work members never see and the shop couldn’t run without

HEAD GOLF PROFESSIONAL

Nathaniel Needham is Head Golf Professional at Seven Lakes Golf Club. A Tar Heel at heart, he also bleeds Panthers black and blue and still finds time for the Colorado Rockies — and for the chickens in the backyard.

He came up through the game and the shop, and now leads the Pro Shop with that same mix of competitive fire and a real welcome at the door.

ASSISTANT GOLF PROFESSIONAL

Thomas W. Stroupe is Assistant Golf Professional at Seven Lakes Golf Club and a PGA Associate in the Carolinas Section. He lives in the Seven Lakes neighborhood, graduated from Sandhills Community College, and learned the shop the right way — working his way up beside Head Professional Nathaniel Needham.

Members know him from the counter and the first tee: local, prepared, and ready to get you on the course.
