    Our Head Chef brings dedication and discipline from his Army service, including two tours in Iraq, to our kitchen at the golf course. A proud Wisconsin native, he trained under James Beard Award-winning chef Justin Aprahamian, mastering traditional French techniques blended with contemporary English cuisine.

    He crafts bold, flavorful dishes with a signature special that highlights his creative edge. Outside the restaurant, he cares for his ailing mother with the same commitment he shows every plate.

7 Lakes Golf

Designed in 1976 by Peter Tufts III (godson of Donald Ross), Seven Lakes Golf Club is one of the Sandhills' masterpiece layouts. Sculpted through rolling lakeside terrain and majestic longleaf pines, it features contoured fairways bordered by azaleas, pines, and dogwoods—promoting creative shot-making while delivering stunning views.

Under current ownership by Michael and Meera Ivester since 2023, the club is undergoing an exciting rebranding and enhancements, with hands-on leadership focused on elevating the experience and preserving its legacy.

Michael Ivester, a Charlotte-based entrepreneur and president of family-owned Ivester Drywall & Painting (specializing in multifamily construction), brings his business acumen and passion for golf to Seven Lakes. Alongside Meera (company VP), he is committed to course improvements, community events, and positioning the club as a premier Sandhills destination.
